“Stacy is an enthusiastic and dedicated movement educator. She was a regular student in my Pilates Reformer for Instructors classes as well as a private client during her formative years as a teacher. Stacy is a complete anatomy and biomechanics nerd! She loves to figure out how the body works and moves and she knows how to weave this layer into her teaching. At Fix Pilates, you won’t get cookie-cutter workouts, but thoughtful and beautifully executed sessions designed with your own needs in mind.”

  • Originally from The Woodlands, Texas, Grace went on to attend Texas A&M University, where she studied business and communications. After working in college athletics, she discovered Pilates and quickly fell in love with every aspect of the movement system. She went on to earn her certification through Body Arts and Science International (BASI) and has now been teaching for over three years.

Our Team

  • I am a highly specialized Pilates movement coach, athlete, and educator with a passion for helping clients achieve deeper, more meaningful outcomes through movement. Whether supporting post-rehabilitation and special conditions, enhancing athletic performance through Pilates cross-training, or guiding clients through the discipline and artistry of the classical Pilates repertoire, my goal is to help every individual discover the deeper mover within themselves.

I completed my training under Wendy LeBlanc Arbuckle through the 3 Core Connections Pilates Teacher Training Program in 2005. As a dancer, athlete, martial artist, and lifelong mover over 50, I deeply understand the nuance, dedication, and education required to continue thriving physically through every stage of life.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the classical Pilates method while remaining open-minded and adaptable to the unique needs of each body. To me, Joseph Pilates’ work serves as the map — the interconnected relationship between each apparatus and exercise creates fluid, strong, and resilient bodies. By combining the classical method with somatics, fascial integration, and other movement modalities, I strive to create meaningful, fulfilling movement experiences for every client, regardless of age, ability, or disability.

My movement journey began many years ago at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas, where I studied ballet extensively alongside jazz and modern dance under renowned instructors from around the world. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Edward’s University.

I look forward to sharing my movement knowledge and guiding you on your own movement journey.

  • Amanda began her Pilates journey at 13 after being diagnosed with scoliosis at age 10. Introduced to Pilates through ballet, she trained with Anthony Rabara in Princeton, New Jersey, and later became the first American to graduate from a former Soviet ballet academy in Kiev, Ukraine.

After earning her degree in Classical Arts and Choreography, Amanda danced professionally in the U.S. and England, where Pilates remained a key part of her training and recovery. Following her dance career, she continued her Pilates education at Sal Anthony’s in New York.

While working in hospital fitness centers in New Jersey, Amanda became passionate about helping clients through movement and rehabilitation, especially special populations impacted by autoimmune conditions. She later earned her certification through Dance for PD in Brooklyn, further expanding her expertise in specialized fitness and recovery programming.

  • Alana Angela Mirabdolbaghi grew up in Hawai’i and spent most of her adolescents outdoors either hiking, swimming, surfing or biking. These activities brought her much happiness, but over time she realized how these various activities had taken a toll on her alignment and muscles. She searched for a way to heal and restore her body, while increasing her strength without risking injury and thankfully found Pilates!

When Alana moved to Houston, she decided to explore her passion for Pilates further by enrolling in the STOTT Pilates education. Alana’s goal as an instructor is to create an environment that focuses on connecting mind and body through the power of breath, body awareness and strength in a welcoming community. She believes Pilates is not only exercise and physical therapy but also a mental therapy, aligning body, mind and spirit.

  • Jennie is currently completing her Comprehensive Pilates Certification and loves sharing the classical method with a personal, encouraging touch. Originally from the Bronx and now based in Texas, she brings warmth, humor, and focus to every session.

Jennie began her own Pilates journey to regain confidence, reconnect with her body, and move with freedom again — to feel strong, capable, and vibrant rather than older than her years. That experience inspired her to help others find the same sense of empowerment through mindful movement.

Her favorite apparatus is the Wunda Chair — small but mighty (just like her)! — and she has a passion for helping beginners build strength, body awareness, and confidence through mindful movement. Jennie’s goal is to help every client grow in their Pilates practice with love, grace, and intention, creating a space where movement feels empowering and joyful.

She believes Pilates is more than just exercise or a choreographed class — it’s a way to connect mind, body, and spirit through intention and care.
